The last time a fire flanked a film shoot in the East Village, it was when Inside Llewyn Davis was in the hood (the Coen Brothers flick hits big screens this weekend).

There was a similar scene today when a blaze broke out at the Christodora House on Avenue B. FDNY press said they arrived at 8:50 a.m. to put out a fire in apartment 10G, but someone answering the phones at the notorious condo building told us it was a “very, very small incident.”

Meanwhile, over on East 7th Street, the ongoing filming of The Cobbler sapped parking spaces with trucks and production equipment — as if the sewer-line work on East 7th wasn’t enough of a headache. Hopefully Sandler wasn’t delayed for his next trip to Katz’s.
