It’s a very Judd Apatow day in Williamsburg. While How to Be Single, starring his wife Leslie Mann, shoots on Broadway, the show he produces, Girls, is shooting on Grand Street.

First off, yes. Girls is back in our orbit and currently filming at William Sheridan Playground, at Grand and Wythe. A sign informs parents entering the playground that they agree to be filmed. We spotted Alex Karpovsky chilling on a bench (sorry, no telephoto lens today). Could Ray be playing dad to a lil tike this season, or is this just part of his community board duties? Seems Jenny Slate is also on set, per Lena Dunham’s Insta.

Meanwhile on Broadway, Meadowsweet has been transformed into a very convincing antiques store called Sweetmead. (Get it?) Director Christian Ditter (“Love, Rosie”) and his crew have packed the place with some mid-century modern items that would maybe get Don Draper on the L train. Why they couldn’t just film over at Eclectic Collectibles & Antiques, we have no idea. Maybe its fee has gone up since that recent Times profile?

According to a posting, How to Be Single, a “humorous account of single men and women in New York City struggling with relationship [drama? foibles? who knows, the flyer was cut off -- and we'll judge whether it's humorous, people], stars Alison Brie, Rebel Wilson, Damon Wayans, Jr., and Dakota Johnson. It’s based on the novel by Liz Tuccillo, co-author of He’s Just Not That Into You.
