Turns out “Chad,” who put up fake film-shoot notices for Taxi Driver 2 and Bushwick: The Movie, didn’t stop there. Over on North 6th Street and Wythe, we spotted this placard announcing that Williamsburg: The Movie will be filming on Saturday, at the same time as the other two. The same wrong number is given for Chad, the supposed location manager. You bad, Chad, you bad!
As for what’s actually filming in Williamsburg today, The Affair, a Hamptons-set Showtime series about the aftermath of an affair, and CBS crime drama Elementary have posted legit flyers. Joshua Jackson stars in The Affair, which premieres in October (trailer below).
