After hiding away inside of Saxon + Parole yesterday, Girls is turning the East Village’s biggest shitshow into an HBO show. Yep, they’re filming on St. Marks Place, between Second and Third.

The show is filming in and/or around Addiction NYC (is Hannah getting some touch-up on her Ferdinand the Bull tat?), and Lena Dunham is currently working inside of a tent just off the sidewalk. Someone even gave her some fan art.
Also spotted, the show’s producer Jennifer Konner and some dude who, at first glance, we thought was John “Roger Sterling” Slattery (can someone ID this silver fox?).
So, yeah, seems the traveling punks aren’t the only ones camping on St. Marks Place. (Though rest assured they still are, across the street.)
